Gravenhurst was once referred to as the "Gateway to Muskoka" and a picture of that "gateway" is included here.

Gravenhurst, like Bracebridge, is situated adjacent to water. On the east sits Gull Lake and Muskoka Bay, (Lake Muskoka), lies to the west. 

Highway 11 runs to the east of Gravenhurst, but take a trip through town. Gravenhurst is the southern main entry point of Muskoka. Gravenhurst is also home of the "Segwun" a floating place to enjoy the scenery or have a dinner cruise. (Reserve the dinner early as they sell out fast.)
