Lake of Bays is home to the Hamlets of Baysville, Dorset and Dwight. At a population of approximately 3,000, Lake of Bays is the summer residence area of many of the "Grey-Power" generation. Please visit our individual pages for further information regarding the area.

• Baysville in located on Muskoka Road 117, and Muskoka Road 2. Running through town is the South Muskoka River. Visit our many shops, boutiques and services. (Muskoka Road 117 has a speed reduction limit through town to 50 km/h or for our US visitors, 30 mph.)
  
• Dorset is located on Highway 35, just north of Muskoka Road 117. Muskoka Road 39 is the Main Street.
  
• Dwight is located on Highway 60 just west of the intersection of Highway 35 and Highway 60. Dwight is also the home of the local government. Visit the public beach and the many shops of Dwight.
